The Business Pivot Grants Program is an initiative to help small businesses adapt to the new economic environment through improvement to their digital capabilities including e commerce solutions and the use of technology to improve visibility and profitability.
What you can get and what can the funding be used for?
You can apply for up to $10,000 on a 25/75 contribution.
Applicants can use the Grant Funding to obtain new technology and digital equipment, undertake future skilling, make physical improvements to their business premises and purchase such equipment and infrastructure that may assist the business to access new markets.

Who can apply?
You can apply if you meet the following criteria:
- have an annual turnover of more than $75,000 and less than $10 million
- be a Territory enterprise
- hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
- employ at least one full-time and no more than 20 full-time employee.
- From 25 December 2021, vaccination requirements will apply to all:
- NT Government contractors
- grant recipients.

- Applicants must confirm they are meeting the directions of the policy. The department may ask for proof to check compliance.

To apply, follow these steps:

If your preferred provider is not on the list, you can add them on the application. If they are eligible, they will be invited to register. - Go to GrantsNT and log in to your account.
If you don’t have an account you will need to create one, even if you are a sole trader. - Fill in and submit the application. You must include at least one quote in your application.
After you apply
You will be advised of the outcome.
If you’re successful, you will get an approval email with a voucher.
The voucher covers 75% of the total cost of works, up to a maximum of $10,000.
Services must be:
- provided after application is approved, and
- completed by the voucher’s expiry date.
The Business Growth Program is available to businesses seeking to access professional advice systems and services to improve the performance, sustainability, and profitability of their business.
Who Can Apply?

- operations
- financials
- people and culture
Support is also available if your business needs assistance or requires mentoring or coaching support with implementation of advice received under this program.

You can apply through the GrantsNT website. You can talk to a small business champion before you apply.
To apply online, follow these steps:
- Read the Business Growth Program terms and conditions.
- Search and select active providers on the GrantsNT website.
If your preferred provider is not on the list, you can add them on the application. If they are eligible, they will be invited to register. - Go to GrantsNT and log in to your account. If you don’t have an account, you will need to create one (even if you are a sole trader).
- Upload your business plan. If you don’t have one, fill in a canvas template for your business model or answer the questions in the business plan template.
- Fill in and submit the application. You must include at least one quote in your application.
After you apply
